Overview

In geographical location, Bangladesh is highly revealing the disaster, like a natural disaster or a human-induced disaster. Some natural disasters are affected by the people or environment. But specifically, people are affected by water related disasters river-bank or cyclones. Flood is very affected in Bangladesh. Recent time, we have been affected by the impact of rapid urbanization or randomly tree cutting. Rapid urbanization or randomly tree cutting increases the exposed effect that is suffering by the natural disaster or man-made disasters. Heat waves are occuring for the increasing of rapid urbanization or randomly tree cutting. Generally, floods, cyclone, lighting, drought, earthquake, river bank erosion, sanity problem and arsenic contamination are suffering in Bangladesh. Floods are one of the most occuring disaters in Bangladesh and other disasters have occurred in some times. Drought is the seasonal disaster and sanility problems have been occuring on the south and south-west sides of Bangladesh. There are some people affected by the natural disasters or human-induced disasters. So, any disaster effects are decreasing; implement the proper strategies for reducing disasters effects or impacts.
As Bangladesh is suffering from natural disasters or man-made disasters. So, the government of Bangladesh and related ministries have created a strategic plan to reduce the impact of disasters or reduce the impact of disasters, to save the people’s life etc. that is performed by the government of Bangladesh. The National plan for Disaster Management(NPDM) is Performed by the government of Bangladesh and the related minitry of Disaster Management Relief. The government of Bangladesh has beeen planing to reduce the disaster impact or to create a reslience in Bangladesh such as National plan for Disaster Management(NPDM), Delta plan 2100 etc. The National Plan for Disaster Management is divided into two phase which represent the Government of Bangladesh’s planning. The first phase is National plan for Disaster Management(NPDM) 2016-2020, while the second phase is National Plan for Disaster Management (NPDM)  2021-2025. Nation plan for Disaster Management is extended to 2030 which is implement by Government of Bangladesh. This plan has been implemented to reduce the impact of disaster, to save life of people, to address economic loss, relief etc. Now, we are seeing the overview of the National plan of Disaster Management 2021-2025, Delta plan 2100, which is pleted to reduce of economic loss, reduce of disaster effect, save life of people etc.

Delta Plan 2100

Bangladesh is a developing country for the proper activities and planning by the Government of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 is one of them. This plan has been implemented to continue development and achieve lower middle-income countries within 2030. So, effective and proper management planning is helping to recognize the low-middle country. The Bangladesh Delta plan has been presented and prepared based on the growing population base to gain development status. Bangladesh is the most risky and vulnerable country in the world for its geographical status and also a hazardous country from natural disasters. There are some disaster features of the country such as floods, river bank erosion etc. This disaster feature  regularly reveals the challeges of environment, f,ood security and livelihood. These challenges are faching the rurul people, urban people or neighborhoood people on the side of these disasters.
The Delta Plan 2100 is to integrate the long-term challenges of sustainable management of environment, land resources, water, ecology to achieve upper middle-income status and pose extreme poverty by 2030 and 2041. This plan has also represented the climate change and natural disasters that are overcome by the Government of Bangladesh.
Banglesh Delta Plan primary sees 2050 but also require the plan right now and decisions taken now to have implications for 2050 and the future. The Delta plan 2100 sets up the long-term evolution of Bangladesh by the 21st  century and requires the future time to move targets and to adapt the nature and environment. It is time to adept to the nature events and properly respond time to the future time to facing the natural events or human events.
The detla plan 2100 has been practiced under the Dutch Delata management. The Government of Bangladesh has helped with technical issues to develop and improve the Delta Plan 2100 from the Government of Netherlands. The Delta Plan 2100 has been constituted by the Government of Bangaldesh under the General Economics Divisions (GED) of the Planning Commission of Bangladesh. It is also supported by the national and dutch experts who are specialists in Disaster management reduce. relief and resilience.
Some different plan for the integrated needs for water resources management under the Delta Plan 2100 (BDP). It is discussed about how to manage of water resources and some initiatives have been formulated by the Government of Bangladesh. Banglades has directly or indirectly depended on the water and agricultural activities since 1900s. There are national level strategies and plans such as the five year plan for develpment and it is connected to sustainable development which requires the 169 targets to fulfil the committment for achieving some goals. Some challenges are facing the national level and global level to management the delta plan. Effective activities are needed to coordinate the plan which is regret the reach to approach.
Some specific plan applied to be short time and following the departments or coherent departments. As national level challenges, climate change and disaster risk, coordinate strategy requires the long-term policy implemented and some sectoral policies and regulations. Example, water scarcity is the example to protect the living standard; it involves the national level challenges to maintain the food supply or water supply which pose a food insecurity to increasing the threat of climate change, environment impact. It is connected to the high demand of the living standard and it is increasing the housing component to protect the life and it occurs under natural disasters or man-made disasters. So, government is applied under the long-time planning and vision; it is contributed to the fulfilment of objectives under the government and NGOs. Climate change, the economic condition of Bangladesh and international planning knowledge have been taken into account in the development the Delta Plan 2100. 
Due to climate change and socio-economic conditions, the adaptive strategy to create the deltas in the world is being enhanced. Some flescibles strategies, receipes, robustness and measures are taken from the previous deltas in the world. It is taken with strong cognzate base on the allows regulations creator and policy creator. The Delta Plan has been developed from the learning the international experiences and investigation.
The analytical frame of the delta plan 2100 is defined base on the expansive all district of Bangladesh. Because all district of Bangladesh is facing the climate and weather change problem due to their geographical location. Water, eco-system, land use and climate change are overcome by the development with an interaction adaptive development plan. There are some areas identified according to the analysis base which is modified some district of Bangladesh; they are facing natural disasters, hazards and climate change. Some districts are facing the similar natural district and climate change risks. The delta plan 2100 almost summarizes certain socio-economic features and risk characteristics of Bangladesh due to measurement of vulnerabilities area in the district. The delta plan was developed at the level of district, sub-district and union base on the climate challenges risk and other disasters risks. The mission of the Delta plan 2100 is to “Ensure long term water and food security, economics growth and environment sustainability while effectively reducing vulnerabilities to natural disasters and building resilience to climate change and other delta challenges through robust, adaptive and integrated strategies and equiatable water governce.” The plan has been implemented  by the long-term characteristics of vision and it requires targets and goals with specific way to reduce the economic loss and climate change risk.

National Plan for Disaster Management (NPDM 2016-2020)

National Plan for Disaster Mangement is the development for reducing the impact of climate change. It has also connected and requires the savings lives of humans; to protect the environment, to save wildlife and others. National Plan for Disaster Management (NPDM) 2016-2020 was developed for changing risk of nature in Bangladesh. It was translated by the Government of Bangladesh. It was also important for emerging the risks of nature in disasters in Bangladesh. It was linked to climate change impact and urbanization and disaster risk reduction for sustainablity. It was connected to the stakeholders through disaster reducing experts.
The National plan for Disaster Mangement was allowed by the Governement of Bangladesh to implement the Disaster Management Act 2012; it was also taken some steps to fulfil the plan that was these plans connected to some related miniteris of the Governement of Bangladesh, NGOs and priveate sector. This plan was setup some strategic way; an aim to produce the alignment of Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and it was reflected by the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR). This plan required the relevant stakeholders, emerging the risks and implementing some actions and steps. This plan was to set up some objectives and goals to fulfilment the plan.
This plan was translated the alignment to implementation that was emerging the risks of disasters and hazard, public security, ensuring inclusivity, illustrated the various stakeholders to countribute to the Government of Bangladesh Disaster management vision; it was the vision of the Government of Bangladesh with relation the National Plan for Disaster Management 2016-2020. It was cleared the invesment policy of Disaster Management for private sector and ministry of the Government of Bangladesh can be applied or implemented.
It created the framework for disaster management with Disaster Managment Act 2012, Disaster Management policy, the ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) of the Government of Bangladesh (GoB). It was also focused on disaster management policy which includes disaster risk reduction, preparedness, response and recovery; it is refered to the disaster management cycle of diaster management or diaster science and management. Some management communities were constitued by the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) such as National Disaster Management Council, inter-minsterial Disaster Management coordination committe (IMDMCC). It was also connected for activities at the national level such as district, sub-district, union or village. It was prepared to achieve the long-time disaster management goals in specific alignment with the 5 year plan. Some different examples include the achievement of a national plan for disaster management such modified vulneraable areas in society, food security, environment and social protection etc. It was also focused based on the research and knowledge sharing to predict the magnitude of climate and disasters impact on different categories.
It enhanced the disaster risk that has been addressed in the slow and rapid onset disaster in Bangladesh. It was also connected to the climate disasters, natural disasters etc. It required the risk, vulnerabilities, measurement of disasters and hazards etc. It also included the engagement ratio of the private sector in the country.
This plan was prepared for reducing the risk of disasters and achieving the lower middle-income country in the world within 2041. There are some features of the National Plan for Disaster Management 2016-2020. It conducted some workshops, seminers, consultation etc. to gain some characteristics from stakeholders and some outcome and output from the severe people who are struggling with the disasters and other events. It was drawed to gain the feedback from the stakeholders to identify matters or situations regarding harm or deal with people; investigate the conditions the law or policy. It was also prepared for the achieving resilience. The National Plan for Disaster Management 2016-2020 emphasized the crucial role of resilience and could be beneficial for reducing disaster risk reduction activities.

National Plan for Disater Management (NPDM 2021-25)

National Plan for Disaster Management 2021-2025 is the integration plan in disaster management for reducing the disaster risk, to reduce the risk of people and the poor and disadvantaged people affected by the nutural disasters and human-induced induced disasters and immediate response and recovery process in disaster management. It is characteristics for emergency management and response for disasters.
Specific mission and vision for natinal plan for disaster management is “to achieve a paradigm shift in disaster management from conventional response and relief to a more comprehensive risk reduction; culture and to promote food security as an important factor in ensuring the resilience of communities to hazards.” It emphasized the coherence and alignment to achieving the middle-income country with sustainability.
The National Plan for Disaster Management 2o21-2025 is constituted by the Government of Bangladesh to achieve middle-income country within 2021 and a developed country 2041. It also requires the economic conditions of Bangladesh and the developing process. It is designed to reduce the severe impact of disasters and save to economic conditions and improve the socio-economic conditions of Bangladesh. It is also focusing on sustainable development for saving lives of people, an adaptive resilience country. There are three goals of this plan such as saving lives, protecting invesments and effective recovery and rebuilding.
The Government of Bangladesh’s core plan is to reduce the disaster risk and save the environment, human to save lives, to continue development, to develop the socio-economic conditions. This plan was prepared for reducing disaser impact, impact of natural disasters, man-made induced and others. It also manages the human-induced disaster and hazard to an acceptable human level.
The National plan for Disaster management 2021-2025 has developed proper alignment and roadmap. It analyze for the future. It recognized the current issues of environment, climate change, human-induced disaster and hazards, drought, floods and others disasters. It is also focusing on the environment features, social circumtances and economic conditions of Bangladesh. There are 34 key phase to continue the national plan for disaster management 2021-2025. the National Plan for Disaster Management 2020-2025 is taken some steps to require plans such as climate change and rapid urbanization. It is developed for disaster management plans to reduce the climate change impact and environment impacts; it is linked to scientific analysis and also related to the new teachnologies.
The National Plan for Disaster Management required the policy invesment policy of the government, private sector and others institutes. It is providing some roadmap for implementation such as invesments policy; illustrate the work of various stakeholders, promoting governance policy. It provides risk assessment and risk reduction to response and recovery. It also motivated the ministry of Government, volunteers and engaged people. It cleared the management characteristics and mechanism of the plan. It requires the capacity building on disasters risk reduction, recovery and prepardness. It works at the level of district, sub-district and union to enhance the vulnerable people who are affected by the various disasters or envrionment crisis.
Purpose of the National Plan for Disaster Management 2021-2025 is to guide enhancing the implementation of the Disaster Management Act 2012. It is a wide framework to the effective integration of disaster management planning and programming focusing on risk reduction and resilience. It is promoting the climate change adaptation and risk reduction. The Government of Bangladesh is focusing on achieving a middle-income country in 2041; which is related to the National Plan for Disaster Management (NPDM) 2021-2025 that is mission and disaster management vision 2041. It also promote the risk informed planning and implementation of invesment for the growing development process.
The National Plan for Disaster Management (NPDM) 2021-2025 is linked to national and international framework in the world to development the framework. It is prepared to follow the Bangladesh Climate Change Strategic Action Plan (BCCSAP) 2009. paris aggrement on Climate Change, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR). It is also connected with international laws, policy, regulations and allowed national policy and regulations.
The National Plan for Disaster Management (NPDM) 2021-2025 is mainly focus on the promoting developing policy and Disaster Risk Management (DRM) to create a resilient and sustainable country. This Plan requries the some priosity place for implementation such as understanding disaster risk, strengthening disaster risk governance to manage disaster risk, investing in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) for resilience etc.
